When The Last Post sounded on 11 November some veterans felt it could be announcing a requiern for Canada's War Museum as a repository for Canada's military heritage. While such a conclusion may be extreme, the CWM has apparently lost a policy war with the Canadian Museum of Civilization's Corporation and, close observers feel, political correctness has won over Remembrance of Canada's 112,000 war dead as a motivating factor for the beleaguered War Museum.
