APPLETON, Wis., Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Wisconsin officials announced today that during December the airline attained a 44 percent increase in passengers carried versus the same month of 1982, while the load factor increased 1.2 points to 40.9 percent.
With the advent of 146 jet equipment, Air Wisconsin's December revenue passenger miles totaled 11.42 million for an increase of 41 percent. A revenue passenger mile is one passenger flown one mile. The load factor is the percentage of available seats occupied.
