NEW YORK -- James Galanos showed his technical wizardry with a fanfare of intricately engineered suits, dresses and evening entrance makers that were pleated and tucked to a fare-thee-well, as his spring-summer collection strolled down the runway at the Plaza Hotel Tuesday afternoon.
