NEW YORK -- Kenneth Greene, Inc., nine-year-old, Boston-based manufacturer of better-price sportswear, has signed an agreement to license the Jerry Silverman name. The firm will assume responsibility for manufacturing daytime dresses for fall designed by Princess Katalin zu Windisch-Graetz, whose five-month-old partnership with Jerry Silverman, Inc., apparently has fallen through.
The dresses will be sold under the Silverman label, In addition to dresses, Greene eventually plans to introduce a line of sportswear under the Silverman name.
The licensing arrangement between Greene and Silverman is unrelated to last Saturday's theft of nearly the entire ...
