NEW YORK, May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Motion Picture Group of Paramount Pictures Corporation will debut "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom" with 1,685 working prints in the United States and Canada on Wednesday, May 23.
This launching of the new adventure film featuring the hero of the enormously successful "Raiders of the Lost Ark" represents the largest opening number of work prints for a Paramount release to date, and also marks an unprecedented level of openings for 70mm engagements, with 243 theatres set to play the film in the wide-gauge process.
