PHILADELPHIA, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- The board of directors of Colonial Penn Group Inc. (NYSE) today announced the election of Harold W. Booth as senior vice president.

Booth joined the company in March as chairman and chief executive officer of Intramerica Life Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Colonial Penn Group Inc.

From 1977 to 1983, he was president and chief executive officer of Bankers Life Nebraska, and in 1983, he was elected chairman of the board. Prior to that, Booth was executive vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer of Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Illinois.
