ST. LOUIS, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- LA, the first light alcohol beer to be brewed and marketed by a major American brewer, will be placed into broadened distribution nationally beginning Monday, May 21, it was announced by August A. Busch III, chairman and chief executive officer of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc.
"In light of market research data and the field performance of the product to date, the market for LA has proved to be viable," Busch said. "We therefore have determined to make LA available to consumers on a significantly broadened basis as soon as possible.
