Article: British Railways and Sea Containers to sell Sealink to British Ferries Ltd.

LONDON, July 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The British Railways Board and Sea Containers, Ltd. today signed a contract to sell Sealink UK Ltd. to a newly formed wholly-owned U.K. subsidiary of Sea Containers Ltd., British Ferries Ltd. The purchase price is 66 million pounds, to be paid in cash. Completion is scheduled for July 27, 1984. Morgan Grenfell and Company Ltd. represented the sellers. The funds are primarily being supplied by a syndicate of banks led by the First National Bank of Boston.
