LOS ANGELES, July 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's first commercial television broadcast with stereo sound will air tomorrow during coverage of the opening ceremonies of the 1984 Summer Olympics.
ABC-owned Los Angeles TV station KABC will broadcast the ceremonies live using the specifications of patented multichannel TV sound transmission technology, developed by Zenith Electronics Corporation and endorsed by the industry.
