LOS ANGELES -- Woven sport shirts quickly emerged as the star performer at the Men's Apparel Guild in California market last week and added a new sense of excitement to virtually every segment of the show. The overflow crowd of retailers from all parts of the country picked up on the news with unprecedented enthusiasm as MAGIC finally produced an alternative to the plateaued knit shirt business.
MAGIC ended its four-day run at the Convention Center here on Sunday.
