WINDSOR, Conn. Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Stanadyne, Inc. (NASDAQ: STNA) and Casa Buades, S.A. jointly announced today that they have reached an agreement in principle for the acquisition by Stanadyne of a substantial majority of the outstanding shares of Casa Buades, S.A., subject to a definitive purchase agreement and approval by the Government of Spain.
Casa Buades, S.A., organized in 1900 in Palma De Mallorea, is one of Spain's oldest and largest producers of single- and two-handle faucets, with over 400 employees.
In 1983 Stanadyne had sales of $374,662,000 with sales in its plumbing segment of $138,000,000.
