KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Universal Money cardholders will soon be able to get cash from their bank accounts at almost 250 7-Eleven convenience stores in metropolitan Kansas City; St. Louis; Memphis, Tenn.; Nashville, Tenn.; and Lawton, Okla.
Under an agreement signed Monday in Dallas between Universal Money Centers Inc. (NASDAQ: UMCI) and the Southland Corp., 7-Eleven's parent company, installation of the UMC automatic teller machines will begin in January 1985. The automatic teller machines will be operative by mid-year in these five cities, Universal Money Centers said.
