MIAMI, Oct. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Southeast Banking Corporation today reported net income for the 1984 third quarter increased 32 percent from the same period a year ago.

Southeast's net income for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 1984, was $17.2 million, compared with the $13 million earned in the third quarter of 1983.

Net income applicable to common stockholders was $15.2 million which produced earnings per share for the 1984 third quarter of 91 cents compared to the 72 cents earned in the same quarter last year.
