SYRACUSE, N.Y., Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Syracuse University and Gas Alternative Systems, Inc. (GAS), have put in place an essential part of the Central New York Gas Cogeneration Project, the Metropolitan Development Association of Syracuse and Central New York (MDA) announced today.
Irwin L. Davis, MDA executive vice president, announced that the University and the Brooklyn-based project development company have signed agreements representing three "important steps" toward construction of a major cogeneration facility in the Town of Onondaga.
