And now, live from our studios in New York, it's The Fritz & Gerry Comedy Hour, starring Fritz Mondale and his unpredictable little running-mate, Geraldine Ferraro. [Music, applause, etc.]
Fritz [lighting up his cigar]: Well, Gerry, I see in the papers that you and your husband, John Zaccaro, are having trouble over financial disclosures. What seems to be the problem?
Gerry: Well, you see, Fritz, my husband, John, is a very private person. Why, I couldn't even find out his name until we had been married a couple of months. And you should see him when we play Monopoly. The only way he'll show his property deeds is if I get a court order.
