The New York Task Force on Women in the Courts, set up by Chief

Judge Lawrence H. Cooke earlier this year to help root out any sex bias that might exist in the state's courts, will hold its first public hearing on Monday, Nov. 19, from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, 42 West 44th St., in Manhattan. Family Court Administrative Judge Edward J. McLaughlin of Onondaga County chairs the Task Force.
