NEW YORK -- Fernando Sanchez has licensed Vanity Fair to produce a line of intimate apparel under the label Fernando Sanchez by Vanity Fair.
The line will be priced more moderately than Sanchez's existing line of lingerie and loungewear, which is manufactured and marketed by Ensuite and priced in the upper reaches of the designer market.
The agreement marks the first time Vanity Fair has marketed a designer-label collection, although Sanchez had previously had an arrangement with Lily of France for day-wear.
