NEW YORK, Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange announced today that their respective boards have approved going forward with the development of an electronic link between the two trading floors.
Arthur Levitt Jr., chairman of the Amex, and Pearce Bunting, president of the TSE, indicated that "as a result of extended discussion, we have concluded that a trading link between our markets will offer significant benefits to investors in both countries.
