WHOLESALE major brand, regular grade, dealer tank wagon gasoline prices fell an average of nearly 1.0 cent per gallon in the last week, putting the average DTW price at 76.96 cents per gallon.
The average dealer tank wagon price, a sign of the direction of the gasoline market, has been dropping since October, and is about 15.0 cents per gallon lower than last year at this time.
Petroleum products were starting to move up on the New York Harbor and Gulf Coast spot markets Tuesday, but were still low, trading at about 66.00 cents per gallon at 12:30 p.m. EST.
