NEW YORK -- The licensing deal formed recently between Fernando Sanchez and Vanity Fair may seem an unlikely union, but the individuals involved are confident it will be a successful venture.
Fernando Sanchez, the lingerie designer known for his expensive and often exotic looks, and Peter Velardi, president of Vanity Fair, the vertical producer of moderately priced intimate apparel, are determined to create a substantial business from this new venture without missing a beat in creative design.
