EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Pastiche, a new specialty division formed by the Leather Warehouse, Inc., here, is planning to open its first store in the Short Hills Mall, N.J., July 1.
The 1,500-square-foot shop is expected to generate $750,000 in sales its first year, according to Gary Petersen, general merchandise manager for Leather Warehouse and Pastiche.
Leather Warehouse, a 17-unit off-price chain in New York and New Jersey, did $10 million in sales last year, Petersen said. It carries off-price brand names and private label goods in the $90 to $250 range.
