After two years of casual cruising in the cozy confines of the British Virgins, it was time, I thought, for Brunelle, our CSY 37 cutter, to break out toward wider horizons, and the second half of last winter's cruising season was spent getting her all the way down the Lesser Antilles to Grenada, and most of the way back up again. It had been five years since we had ranged the whole chain, although we had been in the St. Maarten-Antigua area several times, and it was an eye-opener to see how many changes there have been, and just how much yachting activity has increased all through these islands.
First impressions are usually strongest, and mine of these islands ...
