Five leisurely bicycle loops, 3 to 13 miles long, provide a perfect introduction to Palm Springs, a city too sprawling to cover on foot and too pretty in winter to drive. A sixth bike path, now halfway complete, follows Tahquitz Wash, a broad natural riverway that cuts through the heart of the city.
