HOTEL & CLUB DESIGN
Although the clubhouse of the Castle Pines Golf Club in Castle Rock, Colorado, was a collaborative product between San Antonio architects Ford Powell & Carson and the Los Angeles-based design firm Intradeign, the results confirm a sought-after harmony between exterior and interiors that in turn show sensitivity to the project's hillside site. Materials were the key to the end, with stone, cedar and a copper roof the primary building substances.
