Algeria, Iran Join Libyans in Pricing Strategy Talks
Oil ministers from Algeria and Iran flew to Libya to try and coordinate a joint strategy to halt the slide in world oil prices, according to industry sources.
They said the three OPEC hardliners are seeking a unified approach to the cartel to reduce output and ease the world oil glut.
The ministers gathered in Tripoli as OPEC's five-member monitoring committee met in Vienna to work out a market share for the 13-nation cartel.
