TWA TALKS BREAK OFF; ICAHN ABSENT FROM TABLE

PHILADELPHIA, March 12 /PRNewswire/ -- TWA owner Carl Icahn's failure to appear at the bargaining table forced negotiations between the airline and the Independent Federation of Flight Attendants (IFFA) to break off today, according to Vicki Frankovich, president of the striking union.
