NEW YORK, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- "ITT's the American Character," narrated by Norman Vincent Peale, starts its ninth year of daily national radio broadcasts on Thursday, March 27.
The award-winning series, underwritten as a public service by ITT Corp., was created to inspire listeners to feel better about themselves and their country. Each weekday, Peale relates a true story about a contemporary American that illustrates an act of compassion, courage, overcoming adversity or good neighborliness.
