Affordable lines to receive the limelight
NEW YORK -- Affordable furs will be in the spotlight when the American International Fur Fair opens the new Jacob K. Javits Convention Center here, April 3 to 6.
For the first time in the fair's seven-year history, a category of fur has been singled out for special attention. Affordable furs, fashion-laced basics designed to retail for about $500 to no more than $3,000, will be featured in fashion shows the first three mornings of the fair. Designer furs will be shown in the afternoons.
