LOS ANGELES, March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Walt Disney Domestic Television and People magazine have entered into an agreement leading to a new first-run syndicated television show based on People for the fall of 1987, it was jointly announced today by Jeffrey Katzenberg, chairman, and Richard Frank, president of the Walt Disney Studios, and Donald M. Elliman Jr., publisher of People.

The venture will begin with a pilot which will be presented to stations in the fall of 1986.

"People" will be a topical daily half-hour show delivered five days a week with a special one-hour weekend edition. "People" will be fed daily via satellite to participating stations ...
