COLUMBUS, Ind., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Cummins Engine Co. Inc. (NYSE: CUM) announced today it has entered into a long-term agreement with Niigata Engineering Co. Ltd, Tokyo, for Cummins to market two models of Niigata medium-speed diesel engines in North, Central and South America.

Their engines will be marketed exclusively through the Cummins distribution system. Although initially limited to North, Central and South America, other territories will be added in the future, Cummins said.
