Trim 'N Fashion, NYBB File Chap. 11 Petitions NEW YORK (FNS)--New york Trim 'n Fashion, Inc., and New York Bias Binding Corp., related trimmings manufacturers, have filed Chapter 11 petitions seeking time to reorganize.
The companies, both at 370 West 35th Street and and 467 Tenth Avenue, said a drop in sales because of competition from imports and a change in styles led to their financial woes.
Trim 'N Fashion's liabilities are listed at $384,000 and assets at $266,700, as of March 14. Assets include $150,000 in inventory, $66,600 in accounts receivable and $30,100 in cash. Liabilities include $260,000 due NYBB and accounts payable of $73,000.
