Workaholics beware: Long hours may not pay
Extended work has never been Ronald Reagan's trademark. A master delegator, the nation's Chief Executive belies the notion that laboring long hours is essenstial to a successful career.
In fact, all work and no play may not be a wise career strategy, according to a recent survey by Working Woman magazine of 11,000 working women, most of whom are managers and professionals. Those nto willing to put in significantly more hours to get ahead are more likely to earn higher salaries and achieve more success than women willing to put in the extra time, the study claims.
