LEADING BETA BLOCKER APPROVED FOR TREATMENT OF ANGINA PECTORIS
WILMINGTON, Del., April 16 / -- Tenormin(R) (atenolol), a beta blocker widely used in the treatment of hypertension, has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for treating angina, the painful heart disorder affecting some three to five million Americans, Stuart Pharmaceutical announced today.
