The Indonesian industry of organic fertilizers is already capable of producing compost, dolomite, and compound on a big scale, as can be seen from the size of investment in the industry and of its production capacity. According to the Indonesian Association of Fertilizer Producers (APPI), the industry of organic fertilizers presently includes 9 medium-large manufacturers, of which 7 operate under the domestic investment (PMDN) scheme and 2 under the non-facility scheme. These 9 companies have a total production capacity of 304,000 tons per annum.
