Faces of Time: The passionate collector
NEW YORK -- "I collect collections," says Sheila Shwartz, who can drum up Thirties' fishing poles, 19th-century crystal perfume vials, antique silver glove shapers or tiny tartan postage stamp boxes -- as well as marcasite, ivory or lapis lazuli adornments in the time it takes most people to make a local telephone call.
"They call me the White Tornado,: I move very quickly," says the lively blond, who is often found dripping in ivory beads and rosettes, of the foreign and domestic scouts that supply her nostalgia business, Faces of Time.
