BILLERICA, Mass., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Cambridge Medical Technology Corp. (OTC: CMTC) announced today that Dr. Michael DeBakey of Baylor Medical Center, Dallas, has joined the research team of Cambridge Cardiac Care Corp., Billerica, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cambridge Medical Technology.
The noted cardiac surgeon will be working on the development of CMTC's new implantable Cardiac Assist Prosthetic Equipment or CAPE.
DeBakey will join Dr. William C. Triplett and others in the pre-clinical development and clinical trails of a device which will supplement the heart's pumping activity in patients awaiting transplants, recovering from cardiac ...
