PITTSBURGH, May 19 /PRN-Mediawire/ -- The Pittsburgh Pirates and Three Rivers Stadium will be a part of the Hands Across America line on Sunday, May 25, at 3 p.m., it was announced today.
On this day 6 million Americans will form a line from New York to Los Angeles to take a stand against hunger and homelessness. Festivities will begin at Three Rivers Stadium Saturday night, May 24, during the Hollywood All-Stars vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game preceding the Pittsburgh Pirates-Cincinnati Reds game. The first 15,000 people to enter the ballpark Saturday night will receive a free Hands Across America visor.
