Article: Some trends of China's chemical fertilizers in 1992

In 1991 the Ministry of Chemical Industry planned to produce 96 million tonnes of chemical fertilizers (based on standard fertilizers). The total production capacity of chemical fertilizers checked by the state at the end of 1990 amounted to 108.2 million tonnes excluding 6 million tonnes expected to go onstream as new projects scheduled to complete that year.

Calculated on the operating rate of 83.5%-84% of chemical fertilizer plants the output of chemical fertilizers should reach more than 95 million tonnes in 1991.
