West Coast Makers Update Miami-Vice Looks for Holiday LOS ANGELES -- Reluctant to tamper too much with the oversized silhouette in unconstructed jackets, West Coast young men's clothing manufacturers are ready to ride the crest of popularity of the Miami-Vice look for next holiday and spring.
Most new versions of the "Vice" jacket have crisper tailoring, but the major changes will come in color and fabric with linen, corduroy and even knits appearing in the continuing model. Manufacturers said that, based on strong fall bookings, the consumer also has a strong appetite for a wide range of colors and they're following suit.
