OAK BROOK, Ill., July 7 /PRNewswire/ -- A booklet listing the ingredients contained in McDonald's menu items will be made available to customers through all McDonald's U.S. restaurants beginning Aug. 15, McDonald's announced today.
McDonald's was the first major chain to provide complete ingredient information at its restaurants, when it began distributing the booklets to customers in New York state last month.
Edward H. Rensi, president of McDonald's U.S.A., said, "We're taking the lead on this issue. We want our customers to know that we use the same quality ingredients and brand names they trust when shopping at their local supermarket.
