Q Mr. Taylor, why should grass-roots groups take aggressive action against pornography?
Because the Supreme Court has ruled that obscenity should be governed by community standards--not by pornographers, lawyers, the American Civil Liberties Union, prosecutors or police.
Q What steps should groups take?
Protest to companies that distribute objectionable material, boycott or picket stores that sell it. Some groups offer stickers to cooperating merchants declaring, "We support decency' or ...
