On Aug. 10, Petroleos Mexicanos (PEMEX) reported that crude oil output over the first half of the year averaged 2.668 million barrels per day. Of the total, 51% was exported, or an average 1.369 million bpd.

The Campeche field in the Gulf of Mexico accounted for 1.909 million bpd of national crude oil production.
