The flow of foreign guests into Indonesia has been growing rapidly. This has caused the demand for hotel rooms, especially star-rated hotel rooms, to increase. The rapidly growing number of foreign guests visiting Indonesia has promised a good business to investors in star-rated hotel accommodation services. Within a relatively short period of time, the capacity of Indonesia's hotel industry rose significantly. Last year, the number of star-rated hotel rooms increased by 6,128 from 35,989 to 42,117.
