NORTH CAROLINA UNEMPLOYMENT RATE DECREASES 0.2 PERCENT IN JULY
RALEIGH, N.C., Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- North Carolina showed a decrease of 0.2 percent in its unemployment rate for July.
Last month's figures, released today by the U.S. Department of Labor, show the state's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 4.8 percent, down from the June rate of 5 percent.
Labor market analysts with the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina say the decrease is statistically insignificant.
