MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Aug. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Airlines Inc., subsidiary of NWA Inc. (NYSE:NWA), today reported that it flew 2,534,654,000 revenue passenger miles in July 1986, the highest single monthly revenue-passenger-mile mark in the airline's 59-year history. To set this new record, passenger traffic increased 7.6 percent from the year-earlier total of 2,356,254,000 passenger miles.
