LONDON, Aug. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Legendary sixties singer Bob Dylan announced in London today his first film project in over ten years.

Dylan, who flew in to Britain on Saturday, joins forces for the film, a contemporary drama with music entitled "Hearts of Fire," with 24-year-old American rock singer Fiona Flanagan and young British actor Rupert Everett.

The film, which starts shooting at Shepperton Studios outside London on Aug. 24, is directed by British director Richard Marquand whose previous films include the box-office hits "Return of the Jedi" and "Jagged Edge."
