Flooring magazine's 1992 industry survey (mostly covering business conducted in 1991) was conducted by Associated Market Research (AMR), an independent research firm. A total of 2,500 questionnaires were mailed to full-line retailers, contract dealers, contractors, specialty-flooring firms, paint/wallpaper firms, furniture stores and home centers all over the country.
