Gasoline Prices Fall 0.85 Cent in Week
WHOLESALE gasoline prices dropped an average of 0.85 cent per gallon this week, according to The Oil Daily's weekly survey of 50 U.S. cities.
The survey is based on dealer tank wagon prices for leaded regular and unleaded regular gasoline posted by major refiners in selected markets across the country.
Average gasoline prices for the week of April 16 were 52.50 cents per gallon for leaded regular and 53.28 cents for unleaded grade.
As has been the trend in the past several weeks, gasoline prices in the western U.S. showed more firmness than prices in the East.
