Article: EIB LENDS 1 MILLION ECUS FOR ELECTRICITY SUPPLY IN MAYOTTE

The European Investment Bank is lending 1 million Ecus to the French overseas territory of Mayotte to contribute to the expansion of electricity generating capacity. The scheme mainly comprises a new diesel 2.1 MW generating unit and auxiliary electrical and control equipment at Badamiers power station on Petite Terre island, as well as the relocation of two smaller units between Badamiers and Kawoni station of Grande Terra.
