Wheat flour is no longer included in the list of business lines closed for new investment. This means that new investors can now enter the industry of wheat flour. This policy is part of the deregulatory packages issued on June 10, 1993. However, the procurement of the basic material for wheat flour namely wheat, remains fully controlled by BULOG.
